Michigan Football: Ranking who is likely to commit next in 2021
Donovan Edwards
It’s hard to figure out where to place Edwards on this list because he could easily take his recruitment into December and beyond.
Edwards has consistently talked about wanting to take visits and it seems like he would want to visit Georgia and Oklahoma again if he got the opportunity. The thing is, that chance might not come as no one knows when the NCAA will lift the dead period on recruiting.
Another recent change with Edwards is that high school football in Michigan is on and there was some thought that Edwards could decide before the season, at least according to Allen Trieu ($).
Trieu was responding to a post by Wiltfong, a weekly segment he does on recruiting, in which he mentioned that Edwards could commit soon. Soon can mean lots of different things, but with Edwards my guess is we hear in the next week or two or we don’t until December.
There seems to be a rising confidence level with Edwards, but that might be simply because of the dead period in recruiting. Georgia isn’t backing off ($) and if this drags on, I like Michigan’s chances less.
