Starters: LB Cam McGrone, LB Josh Ross, LB Anthony Solomon, LB Michael Barrett

Backups: LB Kalel Mullings, LB Ben VanSumeren, LB William Mohan, LB Joey Velazquez

The biggest question mark for Michigan football at linebacker is going to be whether or not Cam McGrone decides to leave early for the NFL draft?

I wouldn’t entirely put it past him, but with just about 3/4 of a season on his resume, he could do more before becoming an early-round draft pick.

But, last season, McGrone looked like a guy that had a bright NFL future. He did well against the run, he’s solid in pass coverage and he just has a knack for finding the ball.

Josh Ross, Michael Barrett and Anthony Solomon are others that should see extensive playing time. Beyond that, a bunch of young guys will battle it out for snaps, including potentially Junior Colson and Jaydon Hood if they enroll early.
