2022 recruits from IMG

Jett Howard is one of the best prospects from the 2022 class, but, surprisingly, he has several other teammates that are ranked higher than him that are, like him, having conversations with his dad.

A couple of them are within the top ten, and the other is well within the top 40.

Jaden Bradley

The five-star No. 1 point guard needs no introduction. He’s ranked 7th overall, and he would be one of the highest-ranked recruited to ever commit to the Wolverines if Howard gets his way.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Jaden Bradley is still young and developing, although he could become college-ready very quickly if he reclassed.

What you see when you watch his tape is a kid with an extremely high basketball IQ, a tremendous distributor, a threat shooting from anywhere on the court, and just an all-around well-developed basketball player. It’s almost as if when Bradley has the ball in his hands, he seems to be messing with the defense. He appears to signal to his defender that at any time, he can blow past him and score, but he wants to get his teammates involved as well.

Jarace Walker

There aren’t many people built like five-star Jarace Walker. At 6-foot-6 and 220-pounds, Walker is physically ready for the pros and probably good enough to compete at the NBA level talent-wise as well.

Jarace was interviewed about his interaction with the Wolverine staff, and he had some positive things to say.

“I like how they play up and down,” Walker said. “They have a good half court offense and defensive schemes. They are definitely a school I’d seriously consider. I’m looking forward to taking an official visit there and continue to keep in contact with the coaches. I’m looking forward to being recruited by Michigan.”

It’s not just the play style either. Juwan is doing it the right way.

“The main thing I like about them is how down to earth they are,” said Walker. “They don’t pester me about recruitment or about their school. They are really just focused on building a relationship before they get into the actual recruitment process. I like that because not a lot of schools do that.”

Jarace is ranked eighth for his class, the No. 2 SF, and No. 3 from Florida, behind teammate Bradley and Jalen Duran from Montverde Academy.

Eric Dailey Jr

Mr. Eric Dailey has been on the Wolverines radar for quite some time now. After receiving an offer from UM back in December, there hasn’t been much news out of the Dailey camp, although you can be sure the staff isn’t slacking with this kid.

While he’s classified as a wing, Eric doesn’t feel like he can be labeled, and he doesn’t train that way either, ensuring his fit in the Wolverine offense.

“At Dailey Training, they are preparing me to be a positionless player. The work that I do with my dad is specialized for me. I can play every position on the court as well as defend every position,” he said. “I still have a long ways to go but my basics are down in terms of shooting in the bar his passing skills are elite and his basketball IQ.”

Similar to Howard, Dailey comes from good stock. His dad, Eric Dailey Sr., was a standout at TCU and is the founder of the aforementioned Dailey Training. And if anyone had any doubts as to whether Eric’s dad has the ability to develop talent, look no further than his son, who’s ranked 27th nationally.
