Michigan Football: 5 Sleepers in Wolverines 2021 recruiting class
3-star safety Rod Moore (No. 419, 247 composite)
Rod Moore is a teammate of Allen and he also committed to Michigan football this summer. Moore is a three-star safety who the staff really did a good job of identifying and evaluating.
When the Wolverines offered, Moore was ranked outside the top 1,000 but my first thought was he looked much better than a low-ranking three star. He played and moved like a legit four-star prospect. He moved up inside the top 500 now, but that movement upward should continue.
Moore has solid speed as you can see in his track times and he has a knack for finding the football. Some guys are just able to find the ball, whether it’s tackling the ball-carrier or making an interception and Moore has that.
He is someone with good instincts and another with NFL potential. And if Michigan football doesn’t add another safety this cycle, I can live with Moore. He’s that good.
