Best-case scenario for Wagner/Livers

I wrote a couple of days ago that Livers returning was going to be a good thing for Franz Wagner. One reason for that is it will alleviate some pressure from Wagner having to do to much.

The other thing though is that Wagner and Livers really compliment each other well on the floor. Both are space eaters who can fill it up from beyond the arc. You have to respect their shot, which makes it hard to leave them and Michigan harder to defend.

Both players are also better playing up in the lineup. Livers is better playing the role of a stretch four, while Wagner seems to excel at the three.

You can game out some exciting possibilites in pick-and-roll sets with Smith surrounded by shooters on the wing. Michigan also has some exciting pick-and-pop potential, even with the loss of Jon Teske but that all depends on the development and usage of Brandon Johns.
