The Michigan football program is loaded with talent heading into the 2020 season but that talent needs to shine especially these four Wolverines.

if you look up and down the Michigan football roster heading into next season you will see a Wolverines team that’s loaded with talent at just about every position.

Michigan football has two guys with multiple years in the program competing to be the starting quarterback, along with returning its two leading rushers from last season, as well as two of its top wide receivers.

Certainly, the offensive line loses some big names, especially that of Cesar Ruiz, who went to the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. But there’s plenty of talent there too, led by returning starter Jalen Mayfield, who some think could go to the NFL after next season.

While that could happen, he won’t be alone and there are players with early-round talent on both sides of the ball. The key is about getting some of those players to reach their full capability.

That will be critical if Michigan football hopes to improve upon its nine wins from last season and also if it wants to have a legitimate shot at ending its eight-game losing streak to the hated Ohio State Buckeyes.

Some have said the Wolverines just need their quarterback play to improve to win. That’s true but it will take more including these four guys becoming alphas in 2020 starting with a former five-star recruit.
