Michigan Football: 3 Reasons Wolverines will win 10 games in 2020
Wolverines will run the table at home
A lot of Michigan football fans have been disappointed by the performance in the Jim Harbaugh era when it comes to Ohio State, it’s understandable.
But one positive a lot of fans overlook is how Michigan has re-established itself as a very good team at home. In five seasons, Harbaugh and the Wolverines have only lost five games at home, three to Ohio State and two to Michigan State.
That record could be better and yes, Harbaugh and Michigan should have won one of those three games against Ohio State, plus both against the Spartans. But still, Notre Dame and Iowa got destroyed in the Big House last season. The Iowa game was close but the defense made the Hawkeyes look silly.
Penn State and Wisconsin also were beaten handily in their last trips to the Big House. Point being, you have to be really good to beat the Wolverines in Ann Arbor and of all the teams on the home schedule, I don’t think any are quite that good, meaning Michigan will run the table at home just like it did in 2018.
If that happens, a 10-win season is likely to happen and even if the Wolverines lose three road games during the regular season, the bowl game will provide a good chance to get the 10th win.
