Michigan football has landed 16 commitments in 2021 and here are four other four-star recruits who the Wolverines are expected to land.

The Michigan football program has been surging on the recruiting trail over the past two months and since late March, the Wolverines have added 14 commitments.

Some of them have been three-star recruits, which doesn’t mean the player isn’t solid. But lately, more four-star commitments have started to come in. Over the past two months, Greg Crippen, Louis Hansen, Raheem Anderson, Junior Colson, Jaydon Hood and Kechaun Bennett, are all four-star recruits who have committed.

Bennett, Colson and Hood have done so just in the past week and the Wolverines aren’t done yet. In fact, over the next month, there are at least four recruits Michigan football fans should feel very good about.

One of those battles is four-star defensive end Quintin Somerville, who announced Friday that he will be committing on June 20. Essentially, every expert who has logged a prediction for Rivals or 247 sports have projected Somerville to Michigan, including Rivals’ EJ Holland, who placed his prediction Friday.

Of Somerville’s seven predictions on 247 sports, all of them have him going to U-M and the confidence of those selections is rated at an eight on a scale of 1-10. Holland also touched on his Somerville projection here ($), as well as how many spots the Wolverines have left to offer.

Holland said he believed Michigan football would take around nine more players, estimating about 25, with a little wiggle room for key takes. Somerville will certainly take up one of those and the next three guys on this list should also.
