Assuming there is a season, Michigan football will have the opportunity to defeat their southern rival for the first time under Jim Harbaugh and get a vital road win. Will it happen?

There isn’t some kind of magical potion that will whisk us away to a time when there isn’t a virus that is effectively shutting down the world as we knew it. Just months ago, Michigan football was out recruiting – visiting family and giving young men some of the best news they’ll ever receive.

College football recruiting as turned to video conferencing and virtual visits where a drone operator flys around an abandoned campus, hoping the beauty of their institution is enough to sway the five-star – or four-star or three-star or whoever – in their favor.

It’s an odd, sad, and unprecedented time in our lives.

Athletes are forced to figure out inventive ways to stay in shape, and sports addicts are compelled to get their fix through game replays or the occasional training video of their favorite athlete on social media.

On top of the suffering – which pales in comparison to that of all the people actually dealing with the virus – all sporting events are canceled, and no one on this earth can guarantee a return date.

If there is a season, the Wolverines will have to answer a lot of questions. Ohio State has continued its domination both on the field and off, and they show no signs of slowing down. UM can’t lose again, can they?

We shall see. First, let’s examine the schedule.
