Michigan basketball head coach Juwan Howard extended another offer over the weekend, this time to 2022 recruit Jaden Bradley.

Juwan Howard has been busy recruiting for Michigan basketball, even though visits and in-person contact are on hold. The Wolverines extended multiple offers over the weekend, including their ninth in the 2022 class to five-star point guard Jaden Bradley.

Bradley is one of the top point guards in the 2022 class and is ranked No. 8 overall according to the 247 sports composite rankings. 247 sports has him as the No. 12 overall player in its own rankings, while Rivals lists him as No. 8.

Either way, the 6-foot-2 point guard is one of the top guards in the 2022 class and he’d be a perfect lead guard for Howard.

Bradley is really effective scoring inside and getting to the basket, especially in transition.  He’s also a good distributor with a solid jumper. It remains to be seen if he shoots the ball well enough to play off the ball a bit but his shooting doesn’t seem to be a liability at all.

Bradley, who is from North Carolina, was offered by the Tar Heels last month, along with Louisville recently. In addition to Michigan basketball which offered over the weekend according to Bradley, who announced the offer on Twitter, the five-star point guard also has offers from Kansas, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State and others.

Bradley is the first true point guard offered by the Wolverines in the 2022 class as 247 sports lists Skyy Clark, another guard offered in 2022 as a combo guard. Either way, Howard and U-M seem to be focused on adding multiple guys in the next two classes who can handle the ball.

In both the 2021 class and 2022, point guards and combo guards have been a priority. Part of that has to do with roster need too as Michigan basketball is short in the backcourt right now, especially in the long-term outlook of the roster.

Clark has a crystal ball from Kentucky already and while Bradley doesn’t have any favorites up to this point, North Carolina looms large in his recruitment. This isn’t the kind of recruit Michigan has been able to land. Howard is trying to change that. We will see if he’s successful.
