While Michigan football fans won’t be getting spring ball, the 2020 NFL draft starts tonight and here are three predictions for the Wolverines.

Michigan football fans have been starved for some actual sports and they aren’t alone. And so tonight, we will get the closest thing we have to live sports right now and that’s the 2020 NFL draft.

The draft has long been a spectacle in its own right and this year, it will have an entirely new look as the process will be entirely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hopefully, everything goes off without a hitch and most likely it will. The fireworks will start tonight at 8 PM EST on ESPN or the NFL Network. Also, you can follow everything on Twitter and as far as Michigan football prospects are concerned, we will have you covered wall-to-wall.

As far as the Wolverines are concerned, it should be another busy year. 11 former Michigan football players were invited to the combine and as many as 13 could find their way into the NFL next season.

It will be interesting to see if this year’s group matches the 11 Wolverines picked in the 2017 NFL draft. Last year, Michigan had five total but two in the first round and this year, two Wolverines have a shot at going in round one too.

Cesar Ruiz and Josh Uche are the two guys with first-round potential and Donovan Peoples-Jones has first-round ability but will have to wait at least until day two to hear his name called.

At any rate, before things get going, here are some predictions for the next three days.
