Michigan basketball, like most college hoops teams, will undergo some changes before the start of next season and here are four roster predictions for the Wolverines in 2020-21.

There is still a lot to sort out in terms of Michigan basketball and its roster for the 2020-21 season. While there are a bunch of guys on scholarships, signed and committed, until a couple of guys decide about the NBA and others decide where they are playing, we won’t know.

So it seemed like a good time to break down some of the key questions facing the roster heading into next season and predict how some of these things might play out.

One of the first dominos to fall was Isaiah Livers declaring for the NBA draft. It wasn’t a huge surprise, given that players can hire an agent and still decide to come back to school. It sounds like there is still a good chance he returns based on his evaluation but that will be a key consideration.

Franz Wagner could also test the NBA waters. Juwan Howard basically said as much not long ago and we’ll see if we hear a similar announcement from Wagner soon.

Other key questions are about recruits, especially Isaiah Todd and Joshua Christopher. Todd has already committed, but will he sign? And will Christopher commit? Most expect him to but the longer he waits to actually do it, the more you wonder.

And then, there are the transfers. Will Michigan get any? Will the Wolverines lose any?

We’ll predict it all, starting with recruits.
