Michigan Football: 5 Wolverines hurt by lack of spring ball
Michigan football, like every other program in the country will have to do without spring practices and here are five Wolverines really missing out.
It’s obvious that we are missing the NCAA tournament right now, but March usually means the start of spring ball for Michigan football and other top college football teams.
Only, thanks to the nova coronavirus pandemic, Michigan football has canceled spring football along with just about every other program in the country. Recruiting is on hold and the sports world in general is really in a wait and see approach.
That means for Michigan football, the only new information we really have to go on is how guys did during winter conditioning. Outside of that, we don’t have anything new that happened since last season and while there have been rumblings about certain players, we all know none of that really matters until guys step onto the football field.

To be fair, the access to spring practices with Michigan is pretty limited. The one open practice is the spring game, but stuff leaks out and there are always whispers about what’s happening.
This year, spring football was going to be really interesting with the quarterback battle shaping up between Dylan McCaffrey and Joe Milton. Yet, there are some other key position battles that need to be settled and spring would have given us a good glimpse into that.
So, since we didn’t get a spring football, here are five guys hurt the most by it being canceled.
