Michigan basketball will travel to Maryland to take on the Terrapins for the final game of the regular season. Here’s how to watch and stream, plus odds.

At one time this season, it seemed like Michigan basketball might really need a win at the end of the season against Maryland to help the Wolverines NCAA tournament hopes.

But that’s before Michigan basketball won seven of eight games, which locked up their bid to the big dance. Now, it’s all about seeding and the Wolverines look to improve their position even more with a win over the Terrapins.

Michigan is locked into the 8-9 matchup with Rutgers on Thursday at the Big Ten tournament either way, so that won’t make a difference. The game does probably mean more for Maryland as it will earn a share of the regular-season title with a win over the Wolverines.

In the latest bracketology projections, Michigan basketball was listed as a No. 6 seed by both ESPN and CBS. That’s a solid position to be in and if U-M could beat the Terps, who are led by Anthony Cowan and Jalen Smith, it would be another signature victory on the resume.

The Wolverines come into the 10-9 in the Big Ten following a win over Nebraska Thursday and 19-11 overall. Going into the game, Michigan basketball is getting 4.5 points against Maryland, which is 13-6 in the Big Ten.

With Michigan, the performance on the road can be up and down. The Wolverines have won at Rutgers and Purdue but also struggled at times too like they did shooting against Ohio State last weekend. Yet, Eli Brooks wasn’t quite himself for that game, and Michigan is back at full strength.

It’s easy to see Michigan winning the game, losing the game but covering or having Maryland cover because the Terps are super motivated to win the league.

If Michigan wants a chance, a fast start and some confidence shooting the ball will be needed. It seems shooting is the bane of the Wolverines when they lose on the road.

At any rate, here’s all the key info for Michigan basketball vs Maryland.
