Michigan Basketball: How to watch, stream and a Livers update for Purdue
Michigan basketball will take on Purdue Saturday in another critical road contest in the Big Ten and here’s how to watch, as well as how to stream.
Following a huge win over Rutgers on Wednesday, Michigan basketball, which has three of the last five games on the road, will play one of those road contests Saturday at Purdue.
The win over Rutgers certainly gives Michigan some breathing room as far as the NCAA tournament is concerned. The Wolverines are 8-7 in the Big Ten and with two home games remaining, getting to at least 10-10 should be doable.
But if the Wolverines want to push for a higher seed or possibly earn a top-four seed and a double-bye in the Big Ten tournament, then winning at Purdue Saturday is essential.

Purdue, led by coach Matt Painter is getting desperate for wins and at 14-13, the Boilermakers have no margin for error if they want to hang around on the bubble. They are 7-9 in the Big Ten but have lost three straight games including at home to Penn State Feb. 11. Yet, Purdue did beat Iowa at home as recently as Feb. 5.
One thing that won’t help is if Michigan basketball is still without Isaiah Livers, who could miss Saturday’s game. He sprained his ankle against Indiana last Sunday and wasn’t able to play Wednesday. Howard told the media that Livers was still uncertain and wouldn’t say how much he did in a light workout, only that he was present. Here’s what Howard said via Wolverines Wire:
“I haven’t had a chance to speak with Alex yet — Alex is our head trainer,” Howard said. “After this press conference, then I’ll go downstairs and see so we can plan on how we’re going to move forward with practice, as well as the game tomorrow.”
As far as everything else, here is how to watch and stream Michigan basketball vs Purdue:
