Michigan was nearly flawless on offense

Since the return of Livers, the offense has gotten better and better and yesterday, when Livers left the game, Michigan basketball was scoring 1.4 points per possession. That’s insane.

Livers isn’t the only reason, a ton of other guys also are hitting their stride, but he is such a threat to shoot and score, it takes the pressure of others and allows them to thrive.

One example of that is Franz Wagner. He had one of his best games as a Wolverine Sunday, connecting on 7-of-11 field goals and two 3-pointers on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds.

Wagner finally looks really comfortable and I think he’s only going to get better in the coming weeks and months. The same can be said for Brandon Johns, who was lights out again. In 20 minutes off the bench, he was dominant, hitting three times from deep and not missing a shot, while also going 5-of-8 from the line to score 14 points and grab five boards in a half a game.

Simpson was also incredible. But it wasn’t anything we haven’t seen before. He was 4-of-4 from the free throw line though. The senior also had a ho-hum (being sarcastic) 12 points and 11 assists, while turning it over just once.

All those guys played extremely well. Jon Teske and Eli Brooks were also sold, as was Austin Davis, which takes me to my next point.
