Who wins?

This is a tough game to predict. It’s huge for both teams and because the Scarlet Knights haven’t beaten Michigan since joining the Big Ten, they are going to be extremely motivated. Their NCAA tournament hopes would also be helped with a win.

But the same is true for Michigan. The Wolverines are in a more desperate situation than Rutgers, yet the win over Nebraska seemed to calm things down.

Now, Simpson is returning to the lineup and if Livers can return and stay healthy, you feel like this team will find a way to go on a run and win some games. There is still a lot of talent and leadership.

Teske will need to dominate in this game and Simpson will too. Beyond that, Brooks, Wagner, Johns, DeJulius and Livers, if he goes, all need to play well.

Shooting will be key and while the team hasn’t shot the ball well away from home, Tuesday night was an improvement. It’s going to be a battle between two teams desperately in need of a win. In the end though, my gut tells me Michigan finds a way and covers the spread.
