Michigan basketball will be back on the court Tuesday night in Nebraska and here’s a look at how to watch and stream, plus the odds.

If the Michigan basketball team wasn’t in must-win territory last Saturday against Illinois, the Wolverines certainly are Tuesday night when they head to Nebraska for another Big Ten conference matchup.

Like the Wolverines, Nebraska has just two wins in the conference and in the first year under head coach Fred Hoiberg, the Huskers are just a step below most of the Big Ten.

However, that doesn’t mean they are a pushover. At home, Nebraska has played well and without Zavier Simpson, who has been suspended for the game, Michigan basketball is going to have its work cut out for it.

Not only will Michigan be without Simpson for whatever rules he violated, but Michigan basketball is also likely going to be without Isaiah Livers, who returned to the starting lineup against Illinois, only to get hurt again in the same game. Before we got deeper into the breakdown and look at the odds. Here is how to watch and stream:

Breakdown

Right now, Michigan is a four-point favorite, which seems to be a little high, especially without Simpson who is a strong two-way player for Michigan and one of the best point guards in the country.

It’s possible that with Livers and Simpson, Michigan could easily clear that spread, but without them both, it’s going to be tough. It’s not impossible though. David DeJulius is a better scorer than Simpson and he shoots 37 percent from beyond the arc. He’s also good at attacking the basket.

The bottom line is that he’s going to have to take more shots than usual. Jon Teske, Eli Brooks, Franz Wagner and Brandon Johns will also have to contribute more. If Livers is out, Johns has to be assertive and make some shots. His play on offense has been highly disappointing.

dark. Next. 3 things we learned in loss to Illinois

Both teams have just two wins right now and if Michigan drops the game, it will be tied for 13th place in the Big Ten. U-M will also have lost five in a row. So even though there are plenty of games left, if Michigan doesn’t Tuesday, the NIT may be in order.
