From big shots to title wins, Wolverine fans have had a lot to cheer for. We take a look at Michigan Basketball’s Top 10 Moments of the decade.

Michigan Basketball fans have had a lot to cheer for this decade.

From big shots to multiple trips to the Final Four, needless to say, it has been quite a run for the Michigan Basketball program throughout this decade.

With that being said, take a trip down memory lane, as it’s time to take a look at some of the best moments that Wolverines fans experienced throughout the 2011-2019 seasons.

Yet, before getting to the final list, first here is a look at some of those that just missed the cut. There were a number of great moments during the last decade for the Wolverines. That will happen when you play for the national championship twice, win two conference titles and two conference tournament titles.

So before counting down the top 10 moments of the decade for Michigan basketball, here are the ones that just missed the cut:

Honorable Mentions

11/14/2018: Michigan avenges National Championship loss, slaughters Villanova on the road

It didn’t make up for winning the national title but it helped and it was one of the sweetest regular-season wins of the last 10 years.

02/08/2018: Muhammad-Ali Abdur Rahkman’s game-winning layup against Minnesota

This was a frustrating game at times, but it ended in the most perfect way possible.

03/22/2018 – Michigan drills 14 threes en-route to the Elite 8

The talk going into this matchup was how it was going to be hard for Michigan to keep up with the Aggies. They had size, athleticism and had just drilled North Carolina. Too bad for them the Wolverines shot the lights out.
