The offense is humming

While the play of Shea Patterson has certainly helped, the entire Michigan offense is playing at a high level and that continued Saturday against Indiana as the Wolverines racked up 453 yards of offense.

It was interesting that Michigan football won despite rushing for less than 100 yards for the second straight week. Indiana has been solid against the run all season long and it was clear that Michigan wanted to attack by throwing the football.

And the way the Wolverines attacked down the field was a thing of beauty. Collins caught a 76-yard touchdown; Giles Jackson nabbed a 50-yarder in the first half; Peoples-Jones caught a 40-yarder and even Mike Sainristil had a 35-yard reception.

Those are some huge chunk plays and they are becoming routine.

Doing that against the Indiana defense is one thing, but the weapons at wide receiver and the play at quarterback, as well as the offensive line and the ground game, give you hope that the Wolverines can duplicate this performance in The Game next week.
