Michigan football ground out another team building victory to set up the impending clash with the invincible Buckeyes.

Indiana started off red-hot by taking a 14-7 lead on the maize and blue. After that, it was all Michigan. The offense did whatever it pleased against a sub par defense. On the day it racked up 450 plus yards, most of which came through the air. It was exactly the type of performance that every Michigan football loyalist wanted to see going into “the game.”

Jim Harbaugh has his men humming for the Buckeyes again. He’ll look for a different result than the previous seven meetings have gone with Ohio State. As for the last few weeks since the Penn State loss, Michigan has only turned the ball over twice and are executing like a playoff caliber team. That and more will be needed to end the streak next week.

Tom Allen had his squad primed for an upset, but Michigan football proved it was ready. The defense held a dangerous runner by the name of Stevie Scott in check, although he missed time with an injury. The Hoosiers didn’t run a lot of crossing routes either. Those were something that killed the Michigan defenders at the end of the 2018 season. It will be a must watch as to see how they defend versus OSU’s top-notch offense.

That’s now 24 consecutive wins over Indiana and 38 out of the last 39. A total one-sided matchup that actually didn’t go to overtime in this one. The last two did, but Michigan put their foot down and took care of business. Now the narrative has to be broken to dethrone the Buckeyes and silence the doubters.
