Michigan Football: 5 predictions for Wolverines against Michigan State
Collins will shine
Nico Collins is obviously one of the most talented receivers in college football, he just hasn’t always lived up to it.
Or he hasn’t always had the quality quarterback play needed to be a breakout star. Either way, one thing Collins has been really good at doing this season is hitting the long ball.
He caught a bomb in the last game at Maryland and it just seems like more often than not, when there is a 50-50 ball in the air, he finds a way to come down with it.
Last year, we can all remember the 79-yard touchdown pass that Shea Patterson threw to Donovan Peoples-Jones. It was a legendary play and one that will always be remembered as part of this rivalry, at least for Michigan fans.
Collins doesn’t really have a moment like that or a game like that. This could be one of his last chances and against a struggling Spartans defense, here’s betting he gets 100 yards and at least one catch of 40 yards or more.
