Michigan Football: 3 takeaways from Maryland snoozer
By Nick Popio
Michigan State Is On The Clock
Now the Wolverines turn their attention to rival Michigan State. Harbaugh’s boys will have two weeks to put together a winning gameplan to oust the Spartans in Ann Arbor. It also gives them a chance to shore up some corrections that they may see on film. With the critical time of the year now upon us, being ready for anything has to take precedent.
Michigan State is currently on a bye week before hosting Illinois. They would love nothing more than to go into the Big House and spoil Michigan’s chances at retaining the Paul Bunyan trophy. Knowing that, Michigan football will likely be a double-digit favorite meaning they cannot rest on their laurels for this instate rivalry.
The Big House will surely be rocking for this always anticipated matchup. Both fan bases want nothing more than to win this one outright for year-round bragging rights. There’s no doubt that Mark Dantonio‘s bunch will bring everything they have to win and will assuredly pull out a few tricks to bring Paul back to East Lansing.
For Michigan, Harbaugh will bring his power run game to overpower Michigan State much like the winner of this one has down in recent year’s past.
