No. 5 Blowout win over Florida ends the first season on a high note

This might surprise some people for its inclusion on the list but it’s probably the best win from the magical first season of Harbaugh back in 2015 when the Wolverines surprised everyone with a 10-3 campaign.

This wasn’t the first win over a ranked team for Michigan football that season, but it was still the most high profile. The Wolverines squandered a chance to beat Michigan State with the, well you know what happened, and this provided some redemption after also losing to Ohio State.

Jake Rudock, the one-year starter that transferred from Iowa, capped a stellar season by throwing for 278 yards and three touchdowns. De’Veon Smith rushed for more than 100 yards and Jehu Chesson went over 100 receiving.

The 19th-ranked Wolverines earned their 10th win by drubbing 17th-ranked Florida 41-7 and that blowout was simply a thing of beauty. Michigan ran all over the Gators, Rudock was nearly perfect and the defense had a field day.

It set the stage for a very good 2016 season and it was a bold announcement to college football that the Wolverines were legitimately back.
