Michigan football opened fall camp Friday and with the season less than a month away, here are five bold predictions for the Wolverines in fall camp.

If you are a Michigan football fan, you are growing excited. The 2019 season is just around the corner and Friday, the Wolverines hit fall camp.

We are now 28 days away from the season opener against Middle Tennessee State and before we know it, Michigan football will be kicking off. However, before we get there, the Wolverines still have some key questions to answer and some important position battles to decide.

With a number of key starters on both sides of the ball gone to graduation, there are roles to be filled and players that need to step up.

The secondary has a lot of uncertainty, there are a bunch of linebackers and defensive lineman fighting for snaps and offensively, the Wolverines are adjusting to a new offensive system that will finally put them in the 21st century.

It will be interesting to see how the offensive line plays out and also how the competition goes at running back. Can Dylan McCaffrey continue to improve and push Shea Patterson? Can Donovan Peoples-Jones, Nico Collins and Tarik Black finally realize their potential? Can Michigan finally conquer the Big Ten?

Some of these questions obviously won’t get answered until after the season starts, but in terms of fall camp, here are five bold predictions.
