Michigan Basketball: Evaluating Wolverines chances with 5-stars in 2020
Joshua Christopher
The recruitment of Joshua Christopher has been exciting because it seems like he is genuinely interested in the Wolverines and coach Howard. The 6-foot-4 guard, who is ranked ninth overall in 2020 released his top five Wednesday night and Michigan basketball made the cut.
However, according to Dylan Burkhardt of UMHoops ($), Christopher said Kentucky was his dream school. He also has ties to both Arizona State and Missouri according to the same post by Burkhardt.
Talent-wise, Christopher is an exciting player who loves to have the ball in his hands. He has a nice 3-point shot but he might be his best attacking the basket. He’s the kind of guy Michigan hasn’t really had in a few years, someone that can just get the ball and take over.
His athleticism is off the charts and one my favorite things about him is his ability to push the tempo and get easy buckets. Of course, after Kentucky offered him, the Wildcats own 100 percent of his crystal ball predictions. But Howard and Christopher seem to have a good relationship and if they can get him for a visit, the Wolverines can’t be counted out.
