Jeffrey Persi

No, it’s not actually Taylor Lewan but there are many similarities. Both 6-foot-7-inches, both committed to Michigan from out west – Lewan from Arizona and Persi from California – and both are very good at their chosen sport.

Jeffrey Persi is the 34th ranked OT, 35th out of CA, and No. 398 nationally and earned an 8858 composite rating.

As I said before, the kid is 6-foot-7, and his verified weight is 257 pounds. If he throws on a few pounds of muscle this kid could easily go from a three-star to a five-star before he reaches Ann Arbor.

“I mean, he’s 6-feet-7 and a half with a frame that could easily be 320 or more that can run and bend,” Former NFL lineman and Persi’s high school coach Pat Harlow said. “It’s hard to find people who can do that. He’s also got a high motor, a lot of tenacity. I think those are things that are hard to find in big guys.”

Persi has been constantly improving his game and it was recognized by 247sports nationally ranking for the young man. Just two months ago, Jeffrey’s national rating was 620 and now he sits below 400. Persi is certainly an impressive kid with a bright future ahead or as Harlow said, Persi’s “best football is way ahead of him.”
