Daxton Hill

The first freshman on the list all the way up at No. 2. Daxton Hill committed to Michigan, de-committed/committed to Alabama and then re-committed back to UM.

Daxton Hill

Class: 2019

OK: 1 S: 1 National: 14 All-time: 212 Composite: 9927 5-star

Before you judge the young man on the whole committing fiasco, consider what his parents had to say about the incident.

“I know it was a whirlwind with Michigan there late, but the U-M visit just had such an impact on him.” Hill’s Mom Tia said on Jim Harbaugh’s Attack Each Day Podcast, “He initially made the wrong switch and decided to switch back within two days, and we all felt at peace as a family.”

Daxton’s Dad Derrick spoke of the culture in Ann Arbor being the difference maker and that he was taken aback by some of the alumni.

“Tia and I told each other on the official visit that Michigan is the right place. It was mostly because of what the school represents, the genuineness of the people, and those who had come through the program. we met some alumni and heard their stories, and it was breathtaking.”

Everyone around the program is suggesting Dax is going to get early playing time and if he’s as good or better than his brother Justice, Michigan will certainly be a dominating force going forward.

He’s already as fast as his brother as Hill ran a verified 4.30 forty at the Nike camp The Opening.
