Michigan Football: 3 ways South Africa trip can help Wolverines win
Michigan football is abroad on another trip as head coach Jim Harbaugh took the Wolverines to South Africa. Here are three ways it can help the Wolverines win.
If you haven’t been following what’s going on with Michigan football this week, you are missing out because the Wolverines are sending back some spectacular images and moments from their trip to South Africa.
Of course, this trip to South Africa isn’t the first big trip that the Michigan football team has taken under head coach Jim Harbaugh, who seems bound and determined to make playing for the Wolverines something beyond the normal college football experience.
Previously, Michigan has gone on trips to Italy, where Harbaugh and the rest of the team got to meet the Pope and tour Rome, while last year, UM took the team to France.
If the trips sound expensive, that’s because they are but in order to pay for these trips, Harbaugh has secured private funding, at least he did for the trips to Europe in 2017 and 2018 according to MLive.
Some have asked another question though and that’s how does this help Michigan win games? In my eyes, it helps in a few different ways and also, not everything needs to be about football.
Harbaugh seems to take his role as a leader of men seriously and these trips are just part of that. However, there are other reasons why this trip is going to prove beneficial for Michigan football and here are three ways it can help the Wolverines win on the field.
