The Michigan basketball roster has become a lot clearer with the departures of Jordan Poole and Charles Matthews, which allows for a much clearer view of the 2019-20 depth chart.

So much has happened since the last predicted Michigan basketball depth chart. Jordan Poole made it abundantly clear he will be leaving for the draft with former teammate Charles Matthews.

On the recruiting trail, the Wolverines were heavily targeting William and Mary transfer, Justin Pierce. The 6-foot-7- inch wing would have made a great addition to the maize and blue with his outside shooting ability and rebounding prowess.

However, Pierce decided to take his talents elsewhere, announcing his decision on Twitter.

Another way to replace what was lost would have been Lester Quinones but it sounds like his relationship with the program has cooled off and his 247sports crystal ball have him leaving towards a Memphis commitment.

One of the last hopes of bringing on outside talent for the up and coming season is the younger brother of Moritz Wagner. Franz Wagner is currently playing in Germany and is still deciding whether to test out college basketball or stick it out in Germany.

Franz is apart of ALBA Berlin in the EuroCup league where he averaged 9.5 minutes per game and 2.7 points during the 2018-19 season.

“I still don’t know what I want to do next year whether it’s staying here or going to college,” Wagner told 247Sports in March.

Since Franz hasn’t made a decision, this updated depth chart will not include him or Ignas Brazdeikis.

Only players currently on the roster and those incoming freshman will be included on and the two and three spots will be sure to surprise you.
