WR

Starters: Donovan Peoples-Jones, Nico Collins, Tarik Black, Mike Sainristil

Naming four guys as starters might seem like much, but when it comes to their standing on the depth chart, that’s how I see it heading into the spring. Obviously, Peoples-Jones and Collins are the proven commodities in this group with over 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns combined last season. However, Sainristil has grabbed ahold of the slot position and Black caught a touchdown in the scrimmage and looks healthy. Talk about speed in space. Gattis couldn’t have walked into a much better situation.

Backup(s): Ronnie Bell, Oliver Martin, Giles Jackson, Cornelius Johnson

This is another group where the Wolverines are very deep. Bell was outstanding in the spring game and that was after eight receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns a year ago. Oliver Martin is also reliable, while Jackson is a dynamic slot receiver like Sainristil. He didn’t enroll early but he should also have a chance to make an impact. Johnson is a 6-foot-3 wideout that was a fast riser at the end of the recruiting process, he’s another guy with huge upside.
