Michigan Football: 5 positions to watch during Wolverines spring game
Michigan football is holding its spring game Saturday evening at the Big House and here are five positions to keep an eye on during the scrimmage.
Incredibly, spring football is going to come to an end for the Michigan football team Saturday as the Wolverines will hold their final practice and also a controlled scrimmage.
That controlled scrimmage, which will take place inside the Big House Saturday evening at 5 p.m. is also serving as Michigan football’s spring game and is the last chance fans will get to see the team on the field until fall camp.
If you are around, you can get into the stadium for free or listen on the radio. You can also see the game streamed on BTN2Go, as well as listen to the radio broadcast online.
At this point, it’s hard to know what the duration will be. The only thing we really know is that it’s going to be a controlled scrimmage. I wouldn’t expect hits on the quarterbacks and I’d be surprised if it was more than an hour or so.
Jim Harbaugh and his coaches will want to see what the players can do in a game-like atmosphere, so there will be some simulated situations, but I wouldn’t expect the full playbook to be revealed either.
Regardless, it’s going to be exciting to see the Wolverines competing, even against themselves and in terms of what to watch, instead of just outlining a few players, here are a few key positions to keep an eye on during the scrimmage.
