Michigan Football: 5 players impressing Jim Harbaugh this spring
Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh opened up about the Wolverines roster this week on his podcast and here are five guys who are impressing him so far.
Ever since Jim Harbaugh became the head coach of Michigan football, things have been pretty secretive. That’s just the way a lot of big-time college football coaches work.
Harbaugh doesn’t like to give a ton of access to the media and before meeting with reporters after the second day of spring practice, he hadn’t held a press conference since the Peach Bowl. Not even on signing day did he meet with reporters.
But one thing that has been a godsend for fans and reporters alike is Harbaugh’s Attack Each Day podcast, where the head coach hosts a show with his dad, Matt Dudek and others.
This week, Harbaugh took to the airwaves and opened up about a bunch of Michigan football players as he touched on the two-deep a couple of weeks into spring practices.
Certainly, there are some guys that everyone knows is going to start. We don’t need Harbaugh to tell us that Donovan Peoples-Jones or Nico Collins are going to start this fall or even someone like Cesar Ruiz, Ben Bredeson or Jon Runyan Jr.
We all know those guys are returning starters and have done nothing to fall off the top of the depth chart. But Harbaugh also talked about some of the key positions battles and even updated where some freshman and other key guys stand when it comes to the two-deep and after listening to his tidbits, here are five guys impressing Harbaugh this spring.
