Michigan football had six players in attendance at the NFL combine this last week and here is a look at breakdown the NFL draft stock for each.

When it comes to the NFL draft, the NFL combine is a key part of the process and this year’s combine which was held over the weekend and continues this week, saw six Michigan football players take part.

That’s a really strong number and something Michigan football fans should take pride in. Yes, the program isn’t where we all want it to be, including Jim Harbaugh and his players. However, the Wolverines could have three names called on the first day of the 2019 NFL draft and should have at least six picked when the draft is all said and done.

While there was a lot of talk over the weekend about the speedy performances of some Ohio State players, Michigan football also had some standout performances, namely from guys on defense such as Devin Bush, Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich.

Bush, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and All-American, turned heads with a 4.43 time in the 40-yard dash. It’s not that Bush wasn’t thought to be fast but that really stood out. Gary, Winovich and cornerback David Long also ran good times that should help improve their stock too.

Yet, there is more that goes into evaluating a prospect than just their time in the 40. There are other key tests and also the meetings with teams. With everything that has happened, it seemed like a good week for Michigan draft prospects and here’s a look at the draft stock of each of the six Wolverines who participated at the combine.
