Braiden McGregor

Braiden McGregor is the sixth-ranked prospect in the state of Michigan right now, but he is a guy that is rising among talent evaluators and is someone that is likely to take a jump in the next rankings release.

Besides that, he was told by Don Brown that he was Michigan’s top defensive end target for 2020 and with the attention Michigan has paid to McGregor, that statement is easy to believe.

Notre Dame has established itself as a contender early and before McGregor met with new defensive line coach Shaun Nua, it seemed like the Irish might be able to land the best defensive end in the Wolverines home state.

But Nua and McGregor have been establishing a relationship and on his last visit, McGregor got a lot of attention from Brown. Currently, McGregor is the 19th-best strongside defensive end in the country and the 330th prospect overall, but those numbers should move up and Michigan doesn’t want to miss out on a guy that is being recruited as a big-time prospect.
