Michigan Basketball: How to watch and steam Wolverines at Penn State
Michigan basketball takes on Penn State tonight, on the road and here is all the info you need including how to watch and stream the Wolverines.
The Michigan basketball team is traveling to Penn State tonight in what is actually a critical game for the Wolverines as they try to finish the home stretch and bring home a Big Ten title.
If that is going to happen, Michigan basketball cannot lose to a team like Penn State. The Wolverines lead Purdue by a half-game in the Big Ten but are tied with the Boilermakers in the loss column with two.
Penn State, on the other hand, is sitting at the bottom of the Big Ten conference with a 1-11 record and an overall mark of 8-16. Yet, back in 2013, Michigan was the No. 4 team and traveled to Penn State and was upset and that was maybe the best UM team in 20 years.
Just saying that it’s possible and if the Wolverines overlook Penn State, which is ranked No. 62 according to Kenpom, despite the Nittany Lions terrible record, they will be in a battle.
But before we break down the action too much, here is a look at the key game info including how to watch and stream Michigan vs Penn State.

Breakdown:
When it comes to Big Ten basketball, no road game is easy and even though Penn State has won just one game this season, the Wolverines can’t take this win for granted either.
Michigan Wolverines
The Nittany Lions are a solid defensive team and in Lamar Stevens, they have one of the top performers in the league. He averages 18 points a game and has scored 20 in 12 of 23 games this season.
If you don’t believe that Penn State can challenge Michigan basketball, then just look at its recent results as evidence. Just a couple of weeks ago, Purdue, the hottest team in the Big Ten right now, had to go to overtime to win at Happy Valley. And just a few days ago, Penn State played Ohio State tough on the road, not to mention a win at Northwestern recently.
Penn State also beat Virginia Tech at home this season, a team that is still in the top 25 and even though their record is terrible, only Michigan State has beaten the Nittany Lions by double digits on their home floor. If Michigan is firing on all cylinders, it can happen. But it won’t be easy.
When it comes to my thoughts, here are my predictions on the game as well as three things Michigan needs to do in order to avoid an upset. Beyond that, as long as Michigan takes care of business, it will be 12-2 with six games remaining, all of which are winnable.
One would think, if Michigan can get to 16 or 17 wins, that should at least be good enough to win a share of the regular season title, something UM hasn’t done since 2014.
