OLB Kalel Mullings (No. 104 overall, No. 3 OLB)

One of the top defensive players that Michigan football will be pursuing in the 2020 class is going to be outside linebacker Kalel Mullings, who is close to being a top-100 player and is one of the best outside linebackers in the country.

At 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, he already has a Big-Ten kind of body and since he is the number one player in the state of Massachusetts, Michigan should have an advantage, not only because of Don Brown’s ties to the state, who is his primary recruiter but also because of the ties of former Boston College co-defensive coordinator Campanile.

The two teams Michigan football is competing with the most for Mullings are Notre Dame and Boston College, yet the Wolverines hold the majority of his crystal ball predictions. He also visited Michigan unofficially back in November.

One thing Brown has done is make individuals stand out defensively and that’s one thing he can sell Mullings on and it’s a good reason to expect him to wind up as a Wolverine.
