Michigan Football: 10 recruits to watch for Wolverines in 2020
DE Braiden McGregor (No. 332 overall, No. 18 SDE)
There is no question that Michigan football is going to have to replace guys like Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich, two defensive ends that are heading to the 2019 NFL draft.
Certainly, there are some nice prospects on the roster, but down the road, the Wolverines are going to need to add depth and one very possible addition is defensive end Braiden McGregor of the 2020 class.
At 6-foot-5, 248-pounds, McGregor isn’t necessarily a speed rusher off the edge. He’s probably more comparable to Aidan Hutchinson, who was outstanding against the run last season, but still needs to develop some pass rush skills.
McGregor, who is also being recruited heavily by Notre Dame seems to favor Michigan after visiting the campus a couple of weeks back. His family also appears to be sold on the Wolverines, should good things should be coming down the road with this in-state prospect from Port Huron.
