S Makari Paige (No. 200 overall, No. 11 safety)

Over the past few recruiting cycles, Michigan football has done really well in the secondary and another guy the Wolverines are hoping to add in 2020 is four-star safety Makari Page, who ranks as the fourth-best player in the state of Michigan.

Paige, who is from West Bloomfield, appears to be leaning towards the Wolverines right now, as they hold 80 percent of his crystal ball predictions, with the other 20 percent going to Ohio State, who looks like the main rival in this battle.

Paige is a unique talent who is 6-foot-2 and over 180 pounds. He offers speed and size and those are both things that Michigan football needs in its secondary. He’s also another key in-state recruit like Williams, Washington, McGregor and Mostella that the Wolverines need to land.

Of course, it’s important to keep other Big Ten teams from poaching players from Michigan, but the Wolverines also need to consistently beat Michigan State for top in-state talent. That has happened a lot recently and hopefully, it continues in 2020.
