Michigan basketball will look to rebound from its first loss of the season last weekend as the Wolverines host Minnesota tonight. Here is our breakdown.

For the first time since last season’s national championship game, the Michigan basketball was reminded what it felt like to lose and hopefully, the Wolverines don’t like that feeling.

But with the way they played last Saturday at Wisconsin, the Wolverines deserved their first loss of the season. The offense was sloppy and stagnant, while the defense couldn’t get stops when it needed to down the stretch.

Michigan basketball avoided those bad performances during the first 17 games of the season but it was bound to happen eventually. One loss isn’t going to be a killer for this team, it’s more of the response that matters.

Whether it’s a positive or negative, the Wolverines got a quick turnaround as Minnesota will head into the Crisler Center tonight. The Golden Gophers, who are 4-3 in the Big Ten, has been a little up and down recently. Minnesota beat Rutgers by 18 last week, then lost to Illinois by 27, before edging Penn State by one.

It’s a big game for both teams, yet before we delve into our keys to victory and predictions, here is a look at the key game info including how to watch and stream:
