Michigan Football: 3 keys to beating Florida in the Peach Bowl
Michigan’s young guys need to produce in the game
If you have been following what Michigan football is doing at Peach Bowl practices, then you will know that a ton of young players created some buzz this week.
With Bush, Gary, Bushell-Beatty and Higdon out, the bottom line is that some guys, without much experience, will need to play key roles. Chris Evans will start at running back; Andrew Stueber at tackle and Josh Ross at inside linebacker.
Other linebackers Cameron McGrone and Jordan Anthony could play significant snaps against Florida and freshman Christian Turner could see some carries at running back. Josh Uche will need to build on what he has done too.
When you think about it, it’s pretty simple. Michigan is missing four starters and three of its best players overall. If you don’t think that will hurt, you aren’t thinking clearly. However, if some young and very talented players can produce, the Wolverines will be in a much better position to win.
