Catching up on injuries

There has been a lot of talk about injuries this week for Michigan football and Wednesday, we got news on one of the biggest injuries, which was to starting tackle Juwann Bushell-Beatty.

Bushell-Beatty announced that he would not play in the Peach Bowl. My guess is that because the injury that kept him out of the final two regular-season games still isn’t quite healed. Sitting out gives him a chance to be 100 percent for college all-star games next month.

Beyond Bushell-Beatty, there were other key injury updates this week. We found out that Dylan McCaffrey is back on the practice field and throwing for the Wolverines, making him look like a go for spring practice.

Another guy that was seen at practice in a Michigan uniform was Mustapha Muhammad, a four-star tight end from 2018 that has been hampered by injury. Getting him on the field, even if he won’t play against Florida is huge. He has a chance to be a good move tight end down the road.
