Michigan Football: 3 Wolverines that could breakout in the Peach Bowl

With some key players missing from the Peach Bowl, Michigan football has a number of young players that seem poised for a breakout performance.

The Michigan football team has arrived in Atlanta for the Peach Bowl Saturday and the Wolverines have started their preparation for the first game of the New Year’s Six Bowls.

The Wolverines and Florida will set the table for the College Football Playoff, as the Orange and Cotton bowls will be played after two of the top teams in the Big Ten and the SEC go head-to-head.

While it’s certainly a big game and an interesting matchup with No. 7 and No. 10 teams in the nation going at it, there is an element that feels like Florida may be more excited. At least the fan Florida fans are.

Michigan football and head coach Jim Harbaugh have worked hard to treat this as an important game. Harbaugh has stressed getting that 11th win and guys like Shea Patterson and Chase Winovich have called it a big game. Winovich even called it a must-win game.

Regardless of what happens, this will be his final game as a Wolverine and you can bet he would rather go out with a major bowl win over a top-10 team and not a second straight loss to end the season for a third straight year.

But Michigan is still going to be without three key guys, Rashan Gary, Devin Bush Jr., and Karan Higdon, while Florida will have all of their draft-eligible players. That could turn out to be a huge difference in the game, however, the Wolverines have some talented guys waiting in the wings and this will offer some of them a chance to shine.
