Following everything that happens on early signing day for Michigan football. We will be tracking everything that happens for the Wolverines Wednesday.

When Jim Harbaugh predicted that there would be fireworks on early national signing day, not everyone necessarily believed him. But it looks like the Michigan football coach knew what he was talking about.

Basically, the signing period opened this morning and not 30 minutes into it, Michigan football received a national letter of intent from prized five-star safety Daxton Hill. Hill, who was originally committed to Michigan, flipped to Alabama, only to flip back on early signing day.

That was a huge moment for the Wolverines, who had already put together a top-10 class but lacked a truly elite player at the top. Now, Michigan has that gem.

Hill was one of the first big moves of the day but we also have you covered with every other signing here on our live tracker. Follow all the news right here:

Hill is the most notable Michigan football get today, however, Karsen Barnhart was actually the first player to send in his national letter of intent. That came at 8:02 AM EST.

Shortly after that, it was Zach Carpenter who officially became a Michigan Wolverine.

Joey Velaquez was the next up to sign for Michigan football, giving Don Brown the defense a versatile athlete.

When talking about studs, there are few in this class as good as Nolan Rumler, a guy who should start at offensive guard for the Wolverines someday.

Another player that has signed on the dotted line for the Wolverines is defensive end, Chris Hinton. He’s a guy that has been committed for a long time like Rumler and now it’s just official.

The next signing that we have is a guy that flipped from Miami just a few days ago and that is four-star linebacker, Anthony Solomon.

David Ojabo is the next player to sign for the Wolverines, he was just announced by Michigan football.

As of right now, it’s 8:56 EST. Cornelius Johnson is supposed to make his announcement shortly after 9 AM EST, so we should have more news soon.

Michigan football continues to get letters of intent, that latest came from Jack Stewart, an offensive lineman. That was followed by Charles Thomas, an inside linebacker that is a three-star.

Mike Sainristil is the next player to make it offical for Michigan football on a fast and furious day. Still waiting to hear from Cornelius Johnson.

Defensive back Jalen Perry has now made it official with Michigan football as he signs his letter of intent.

It’s 9:21 A.M.: We still haven’t heard from Cornelius Johnson, but his decision could come soon. He looked to be leaning to Michigan after his visit over the weekend. We will find out soon.

9:24 EST: Michigan football has now officially locked up Johnson. The four-star wide receiver from Connecticut is a good get for the Wolverines.

That is really the last big decision of the day. There will be plenty of signings to come but that will be it for the news portion of today unless something unexpected happens with Zach Harrison.

After a quick break to post on Cornelius Johnson and what he could mean to Michigan football in the future, here is his official announcement from the school:

Just before Johnson, the Michigan football twitter account announced a bunch of other signings such as Mazi Smith, Gabe Newburg, Mike Morris, Trente Jones, Quintel Kent and Erick All. By my count that is now 19 letters of intent.

Zach Charbonnet, Michigan’s top recruit on the offensive side of the ball, sent in his letter of intent to long ago, so he’s official.

Other guys like Cade McNamara, Trevor Keegan and Giles Jackson have all signed too. The signing of Keegan put Michigan football at 24 players for early national signing day. 15 of those guys are four stars or better, which shows just how loaded this class in. One guy, in particular, you are going to love is Jackson, a dynamic receiver who could help change the way Michigan plays offense.

In the latest news which came down in the last 30 minutes, Zach Harrison has officially signed with Ohio State. Obviously, Michigan football wanted him, but he lives 10 minutes away from the Horseshoe and after Ryan Day took over, it seemed to turn the tide.
