Michigan Football: 5 predictions for the Wolverines against Ohio State
Patterson adds to his resume with an epic performance
If you are a Michigan football fan, you have to love Patterson. Not only is he a really good player, but he has ice in his veins.
Against Northwestern, he engineered a 17-point comeback and a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter. In three huge Big Ten games against Wisconsin, Michigan State and Penn State, he had one turnover. In the win over the Spartans, in a tie game, he threw a touchdown pass to Donovan Peoples-Jones that will live on for some time in Michigan lore.
That was a special moment and this Saturday, Patterson will have another. In the last few years, Michigan has had everything it needed to beat Ohio State, except an elite quarterback.
Now that has changed. Patterson has the receivers and the ability to take advantage of the Ohio State defense which ranks 10th in the Big Ten and gives up 234 yards per game through the air.
Ohio State isn’t going to make it easy and the Buckeyes offense will score some points and put pressure on Michigan. That means the Wolverines and more importantly, Patterson must deliver. I think he will and in the process, becomes a Michigan legend.
