Michigan Football: 3 things to watch during the spring game
Who will get everyone talking?
There were a lot of guys that impressed in the spring game a year ago, but two guys I remember feeling very good about after spring practice last season were Devin Bush and Rashan Gary. Both guys stood out in practice and played well in the game.
That’s another interesting part of spring football, it gives us the chance to see what’s coming next. There are a lot of candidates, even some incoming freshman like Milton, who could throw his hat into the QB race.
Yet, a lot of the standouts or guys I see having a chance to standout are sophomores to be, guys like Tarik Black, Donovan Peoples-Jones and Aubrey Solomon.
Solomon is going to have some big shoes to fill, essentially starting and taking over for Maurice Hurst. It would be nice to see him dominate up front. Offensive lineman, linebackers and wide receivers are three other positions with lots of talented guys to watch.

There will be no shortage of excitement about the spring game either way. And since it’s the last Michigan football we will see for a few months, getting motivated to watch shouldn’t be an issue.
