Michigan Football: 5 things to watch in spring practice
Can Tarik Black and others rebound from injury?
Injuries are always an important thing to watch during spring football or any time of year. But when it comes to the next few weeks, Tarik Black is one guy I will be watching closely.
At this point, I am sure he is 100 percent healthy. He probably could have played in the bowl game if it wasn’t going to cost him a year of eligibility. But still, I want to make sure he is the same guy that burst onto the scene last spring and early last season.
Black is one guy to watch, another is Newsome. Michigan football hasn’t made any official announcements about him, but I am sure we will find out soon if he can participate or not. I’d be surprised if he did, but you never know.
The spring should also give us a could look at how healthy the team is overall. Karan Higdon and Owenu each had nagging injuries at the end of last season. Peters did too I guess, if you consider his concussion. So I want to see how all those dinged up players look now that they are healthy.
