Will the 4-star wide out choose Harbaugh over LSU?

The reality is that Michigan football did much of its work during the early-signing period, so it doesn’t have a ton to accomplish Wednesday, but one other name to watch is 4-star receiver Jamarr Chase.

The Louisiana wide receiver was supposed to go to Florida, but changed his mind after the coach was fired. Once that happened, the Wolverines made a hard push for his services. According to Land of 10, Michigan football had him in for a visit Nov. 26 and went to visit him afterwards in December.

That full-court press allowed Michigan to be named in his top three, but the competition from LSU, Auburn and TCU is tough. LSU, the in-state school, appears to be the favorite and unless something changes between today and tomorrow, Chase will likely join the Tigers.

But, during recruiting season, you never know. We are dealing with 18-year old kids, so anything can happen. That’s part of what makes signing day so exciting.
