Isaiah Livers and Jordan Poole are something special
Coming into this season, there was a lot of hype surrounding Michigan basketball because of all the talent coming back. Yet, after the way Livers and Poole have played as freshmen, the Wolverines have even more reasons to be excited.
Livers scored 13 points in the win over Iowa Tuesday and against Illinois, he was just as big, scoring 12. He also had nine key points in the first half when Michigan was struggling to score, including a couple of impressive dunks.
Welcome to the party, Isaiah Livers.

Livers didn’t play a ton of minutes, but when he was out there, he made an impact. And in his last two Big Ten outings, he has 25 points. His ability to drive the bucket and shoot the 3-pointer also makes him tough to defend. Along those same lines, Poole also stepped up. He made two triples and earned five trips to the free throw, making all five attempts.

Michigan opponents need to worry about Wagner. MAAR, Robinson and Matthews, but Livers and Poole are fast becoming players that can’t be forgotten about either.
