Michigan football loses a close one

Yes, Michigan hasn’t beaten a team with a winning record yet in 2017 and yes, the last time it played a top-ranked team on the road, it went poorly. But this Michigan team is good and it will give Wisconsin all it wants and more Saturday.

It just won’t be enough to pull the upset.

Wisconsin and Michigan battled to a 14-7 game in last season’s contest in Ann Arbor and it’s possible to see a similar outcome Saturday. Both teams have young quarterbacks, dominant defenses and outstanding running games.  In a lot of ways, it’s strength vs strength.

You can bet Harbaugh will have his squad motivated. The Wolverines want to prove they are an elite team and knocking off undefeated Wisconsin, would open some eyes.

However, the season-defining win we all want, will have to wait at least another week. Despite it being a struggle, Wisconsin finds a way at the end, 20-17.
